Remote Inspections
Tidy has many options for Remote Inspections, also referred to as 'before and after pictures' or 'on-the-job pictures'. You can remotely inspect each cleaning by requiring your Pros to provide photos or videos of the job. You can specify if you want before the job, after the job, or both. To enable Remote Inspection, select a list and hit "Remote Inspection"
Then just toggle the switch. By default, remote inspection is disabled on to-dos.
Once enabled, you have a few options to choose from on how and when your Pro should provide you with visual inspections. You can choose between photos and videos before the job starts, after the job is completed, or before and after the job.
Photos are a great way to see what your Pro was able to do in a job, track what a rental property looked like when the Pro arrived, or solve other problems. They are good if you need to zoom in, or include on reports. Videos can be a better solution for more context about what a home looks like, but its harder often to see details. What you choose to use is up to you. The way it works is simple:
- Select "photos" or "videos" and when the Pro should provide the visual inspection.
- During the job, the Pro is asked to take and upload these photos and/or videos. You will see these in real time as the Pro adds them and as a part of your job history.
Note: There can be technical difficulties on the Pro side. Technical issues are rare, but can prevent photos or videos from being taken, and they cannot be guaranteed.
You can also view and track photos or videos for each completed job in the "Job History" section, located in the "More" menu of your account.
Inside a previous job on your Job History, you can add or remove before and after photos/videos. Ex.: If you enable before and after photos and/or video, you will also have the option of adding before and after videos.
The pro can also add these after the job is completed, however depending on your option, they will only be able to add either photos or videos.
