Concierge Actions

Concierge Actions are very powerful. They let you add a "human-in-the-loop" to any process, to do things related to cleaning and maintenance. It is like having a on-staff human there to do your requests, and handle complex situations involving some human judgement.

Concierge Actions can be triggered manually, or automatically, and they can include text or image instructions. Here is more detail:

What can Concierge Actions do?

You can do any task that is generally expected to take less than 5 minutes, and can be accomplished in 1 go. You can't have concierge actions last days for example, but you can create many concierge actions. We can take actions that relate to the following things, and more! Just ask.

  • Account Setup Related:
    • Example: Add this to-do list to my account.
    • Example: Add a task to count the number of plates to all my to-do lists.
  • Job Scheduling Related:
    • Example: Set up 3 vendors to come and clean the carpets, complete a regular cleaning, and complete an inspection of my property at 1 main st.
    • Example: Set up daily 1 hour cleanings for my guest who will be at this property (booking 1 job per day).
  • Reminder Related:
    • Example: Text my guest a note when a pro is on the way and they are in the property.
    • Example: Call and remind my pro of the job 3 days before.
  • Invoice Related:
    • Example: Create an invoice in this format after a job is complete, and email to this email address [email protected].
  • Report Related:
    • Example: Weekly, prepare a report of all jobs completed.
  • Languages Supported:
    • Right now, our main language we support natively is English. We CAN use automatic translation software to handle other languages, but you should be aware of the limitation.

What Concierge Actions can't do

We can't actually do anything. Here are some examples of what we can't do:

  • Non-specific things:
    • Example: "can you check my account for me?"
    • Example: "can you let me know if something goes wrong?" (We can, but we need more specifics)
  • Long-running actions:
    • Example: "every 1 hour can you check if a job is complete?" (You would set this up with multiple concierge actions, 1 per check)
  • Things unrelated to cleaning or maintenance coordination:
    • Example: "Can you summarize a history of all my guest communication in my PMS?" (this isn't related to cleaning or maintenance directly)
    • Example: "Can you summarize the works of Tolstoy?" (this isn't related to anything we do).
  • Things that require travel to a location:
    • Example: "Go to 1 main st and make sure the door is locked."

How to trigger Concierge Actions?

Concierge Actions can be triggered:

  • Via the concierge: If you happen to be speaking to the concierge in another way, they can create Concierge Actions for you.
  • Manually via the Concierge. Just tap "Concierge" from the Dashboard tab to create this.

  • Automatically via Workflows. TIDY lets you create workflows to automatically create Concierge Actions. Talk to concierge to set these up for now, an interface is coming soon.
