If you have a job where you had a serious safety issue, we do ask that you let us know. Please provide us with as much information about the issue as possible. For example, if they sent a threatening message, please send us that message. If you have a video of an incident, send us the video.
Always with safety issues, we believe your first line of defense should be the police. They are in the best position to help you.
Depending on the circumstances, we may take a variety of actions to support you and the police in investigating and mitigating the issue. While pros never work for TIDY, we may take actions, including:
- Blocking the pro from your account. This we always do.
- Provide contact information and any other information the police need to investigate the situation. While we can release information to you as well, we generally recommend only going through the police.
- The pro may lose a certification, as described here: Certifications & Ratings. If you require this certification, and most do, then customers could no longer get this pro. This certification is based on fairly objective criteria, so providing us with all the information will help us ensure the proper steps are taken.
- They may also get banned from using the software, if they violate our terms.
